Apple sales cross $1 Billion in India.

In a report submitted to registrar of the company’s filing , the company has crossed $1 billion in sales in India .The company increased its sales by 44% and reached a whopping 6,472,89 crore in the year ended in March this year.

As decided at the time of Incubation in India , the company did not take any dividend from the sale made . Apple INC US owns 99% of the company in India while 1% is owned by Apple Europe .Apple hasĀ  been promoting its devices here in India and releasing them closer to the launch date in India. India has been a country of great interest for Apple’s CEO Tim Cook. It can been seen that the company sold more than 1.7 million phones in India between October 2014 and September 2015.

The company also plans to open the iconic apple stores in India with partnership with Chroma. The manufacturing vendor of the company Foxconn is in plans to create a manufacturing base in India . With the soaring sale of the device the company might expedite its plans.

Apple high on new apple store in Singapore.

Apple is quite enthusiastic becuase of its new store in Singapore .The company is hiring managers for various roles such as business manager , store leader , creative expert. The emphasis is on employees who have good english speaking skills and also cater the audiences in other mutilingual languages.The store is said to open in 2016 and will be one of its kind store in Singapore.The store is said to open in the most popular street of Singapore , Orchid road and job listing has been kept as a secret so far. The company initally sold its products online and brick and mortar sales were done only through retailers.

The move comes at a time when the country is on high because of E commerce and online shopping. It will be intersting to see how this store fares among global slowdown of brick and mortar stores worldwide.

Volkswagon to add digital to its armoury , will hire Ex Apple exec for digital transformation.

Volkwagon,the German car maker currently under lot of fire has decided to go for a digital transformaton.The company has roped in former Apple Director of Engineering , MAC project , Johann Jungwirth to provide digital edge to company.Johann previously worked for Mercedes-Benz as their CEO of the research wing.He spearheaded many projects there including the autonomous car and connected car project.Johann Jungwirt was with apple only for a year and has held half a dozen position in various technology positions in the Industry.

He was also believed to be working on the highly secret Project Titan, which was touted to be the Apple car project once favourite of the esteemed CEO Steve Jobs.
